My heart is broken, John and Genie have been dear to my parents since I was a child and I am saddened that my mom just told me tonight … he was amazing and I always pictured him playing at my wedding while I sang , my gosh ❤️❤️

John will be sorely missed. I heard him on my parents records before I met him at Los Angeles Valley College taking his Commercial Guitar classes in 1979 to about 1982 which pointed me in my music direction forward.

Hi from France: I discovered Senri during the "Rock au Château" festival in Villersexel (France) in August 2015, on this same piece, STRATUS by Billy Cobham, which she played in the company of Hassan Hajdi (g), Jean-Christophe Bauer (b) and Séraphin Palmeri (k). She was just 17 years old!!! What roads she travelled ever since... I own his entire discography and it's always a pleasure to listen to. We are never disappointed by this little drum goddess!!! [J'ai découvert Senri lors du festival "Rock au Château" à Villersexel (France) en Août 2015, justement sur ce même morceau, STRATUS de Billy Cobham, qu'elle joua en compagnie de Hassan Hajdi (g), Jean-Christophe Bauer (b) et de Séraphin Palméri (k).
